Company

A name that says how we work.

Statquoia combines statistics and sequoias — the world's tallest and longest-living trees. Like the rings of a sequoia, good statistical work records time honestly and holds up under scrutiny for decades.

Founded in 2025 and now incorporated as Statquoia AB, a registered limited company in Sweden, we build robust statistical practices that generate lasting impact in medical research, epidemiology, HEOR, and HTA.

We are an AI-empowered company, integrating the latest AI models, Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, to accelerate statistical programming, documentation, and literature review. Every analysis and result is designed, validated, and quality-controlled.

Enoch Yi-Tung Chen, PhD

Enoch holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Karolinska Institutet, with a thesis on extrapolating survival for health technology assessment, and an MSc in Epidemiology from the same institution. His methods work spans relative survival, flexible parametric models, and multistate modelling on mixed time scales.

Alongside Statquoia, he works as a statistician in the Division of Clinical Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet, leading register-based real-world evidence research in cancer epidemiology, quality-control review of statistical analysis plans and programming, and common data models for multi-country studies. In 2025 he was a visiting researcher at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (WHO/IARC), conducting cross-country survival analyses.
